Jesus Can Help You

Sometimes life feels heavy, doesn't it? Like you're carrying a big bag full of worries and troubles. Maybe it's school, work, family, or just feeling lost. The Bible has a comforting message for you in Matthew 11:28: "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."

Jesus is saying He understands. He knows life can be tough, and He wants to help. But sometimes, we hold onto our burdens too tightly. We worry, we doubt, and we keep our problems bottled up inside. But Jesus wants us to let go and trust Him.

Think of it like this: Imagine carrying a heavy backpack all day. It weighs you down, right? But if you give it to a friend, you feel so much lighter! Jesus wants to be that friend who carries your burdens. He's strong enough to handle anything you give Him.

The key is to come to Jesus first. You can talk to Him anytime, anywhere. Prayer doesn't have to be fancy words. Just talk to Him honestly, like you're talking to a close friend. Tell Him what's on your mind, your worries, your fears.

The "rest" Jesus promises isn't just about sleep. It's a feeling of peace and security knowing you're not alone. Jesus wants to take your burdens and replace them with His love and guidance.

Maybe you pour your troubles out to people who can't really help. They might listen, but they can't take away your worries. I remember this quote from the pen of inspiration;

“Sometimes we pour our troubles into human ears, and tell our afflictions to those who cannot help us, and neglect to confide all to Jesus, who is able to change the sorrowful way to paths of joy and peace....He proposes to be our friend, to walk with us through all the rough pathways of life. He says to us, I am the Lord thy God; walk with me, and I will fill thy path with light. Jesus, the Majesty of Heaven, proposes to elevate to companionship with Himself those who come to Him with their burdens, their weaknesses, and their cares....His invitation to us is a call to a pure, holy, and happy life—a life of peace and rest, of liberty and love—and to a rich inheritance in the future, immortal life.... It is our privilege to have daily a calm, close, happy walk with Jesus.” The Signs of the Times, March 17, 1887.

Remember, Jesus can help you! He can change your path from sadness to joy and peace.

Jesus is inviting you to a life that's good. A life filled with peace, love, and freedom. He wants to be your friend and walk with you through life's challenges.

Here's the important part: Let go of trying to fix things on your own. Trust Jesus and give your burdens to Him. He loves you and wants to help you find rest.

“Rest is found when all self-justification, all reasoning from a selfish standpoint, is put away. Entire self-surrender, an acceptance of His ways, is the secret of perfect rest in His love.... Do just what He has told you to do, and be assured that God will do all that He has said He would do.... Have you come to Him, renouncing all your makeshifts, all your unbelief, all your self-righteousness? Come just as you are, weak, helpless, and ready to die. What is the “rest” promised?—It is the consciousness that God is true, that He never disappoints the one who comes to Him. His pardon is full and free, and His acceptance means rest to the soul, rest in His love.” The Review and Herald, April 25, 1899.

Reflection Questions:
1. What burdens are you carrying right now? Write them down, no matter how big or small they may seem.
2. Have you ever tried talking to Jesus about your worries?
3. How can you make time for Jesus in your daily life? Maybe it's starting a prayer journal, setting a reminder on your phone to pray, or simply talking to Him before bed.
4. Is there someone in your life who you can talk to about your burdens? How can you be a better listener for others who might be struggling?

I have been worried about lots of things lately. But now i understand why i had no peace of mind at all. Its because i tried to solve all my problems by myself. I didnt give Jesus a chance to help me. But now i want to lay all my burdens unto him and trust him fully with my life.

Today in Jesus' Holy Name, I will cast my burden upon Him, I believe, I will have rest. My burden are too heavy for me to carry them, I have carried them for so long, today I am surrendering all my sickness, poverty, stress, jobless and others to Jesus Christ.
I believe Jesus Christ will give me rest today and provide all my need in His Holy Name.

    Amen

That is the reality. Children of God often leave God out of their care only to bother fellow human being with their worries. God bless you dear.
