Human Will is Weak

Since we were born sinful (Psalms 51:5), our will is infected with sin and is impure. It is weak and bent to evil. So, what we need to do is to ask the Holy Spirit to empower our will so that we will be able to follow God’s will or obey Him.  By ourselves, no matter how hard we try, we cannot do anything. We cannot repent, we cannot surrender and we cannot have victory over our sins. It is only through Jesus Christ. “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved." Acts 4:12. As the Holy Spirit is convicting us, we must cooperate by allowing Him dwell in our minds and hearts by faith and continually cooperate with Him as He speaks to our conscience. Yes, Ask the Holy Spirit to empower your will that you may be able to resist the temptations of the enemy.

ALWAYS REMEMBER THIS, WE CANNOT TRUST OR DEPEND ON OUR WILL ALONE BECAUSE  OUR HUMAN WILL IS NATURALLY BENT TO EVIL. IT IS WEAK BECAUSE OF OUR SINFUL CONDITION

Take note of what Ellen White says, The result of the eating of the tree of knowledge of good and evil is manifest in every man's experience. There is in his nature a bent to evil, a force which, unaided, he cannot resist. To withstand this force, to attain that ideal which in his inmost soul he accepts as alone worthy, he can find help in but one power. That power is Christ. Co-operation with that power is man's greatest need. In all educational effort should not this co-operation be the highest aim?  Ed 29

The unaided human will has no real power to resist and overcome evil.” 8T 292

Many are deceived concerning the condition of their hearts. They do not realize that the natural heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked. They wrap themselves about with their own righteousness, and are satisfied in reaching their own human standard of character; but how fatally they fail when they do not reach the divine standard, and of themselves they cannot meet the requirements of God.” 1 SM 320

If we were left to follow our own inclinations, to go just where our will would lead us, we should fall into Satan's ranks and become possessors of his attributes.” DA 329

Our Will Becomes Omnipotent If We Submit it to Gods Will

As the will of man co-operates with the will of God, it becomes omnipotent. Whatever is to be done at His command may be accomplished in His strength. All His biddings are enablings.”  COL 333

Understand the True Force of the Will

Many are inquiring, "How am I to make the surrender of myself to God?" You desire to give yourself to Him, but you are weak in moral power, in slavery to doubt, and controlled by the habits of your life of sin. Your promises and resolutions are like ropes of sand. You cannot control your thoughts, your impulses, your affections. The knowledge of your broken promises and forfeited pledges weakens your confidence in your own sincerity, and causes you to feel that God cannot accept you; but you need not despair. What you need to understand is the true force of the will. This is the governing power in the nature of man, the power of decision, or of choice. Everything depends on the right action of the will. The power of choice God has given to men; it is theirs to exercise. You cannot change your heart, you cannot of yourself give to God its affections; but you can choose to serve Him. You can give Him your will; He will then work in you to will and to do according to His good pleasure. Thus your whole nature will be brought under the control of the Spirit of Christ; your affections will be centered upon Him, your thoughts will be in harmony with Him.” SC 47

Let Us Cooperate with God by Giving Our Will to Him so that He Can Empower It

“Co-operation with that power (Jesus Christ) is man's greatest need…”  Ed 29

Your part is to put your will on the side of Christ. When you yield your will to His, He immediately takes possession of you, and works in you to will and to do of His good pleasure. Your nature is brought under the control of His Spirit. Even your thoughts are subject to Him. If you cannot control your impulses, your emotions, as you may desire, you can control the will, and thus an entire change will be wrought in your life. When you yield up your will to Christ, your life is hid with Christ in God. It is allied to the power which is above all principalities and powers. You have a strength from God that holds you fast to His strength; and a new life, even the life of faith, is possible to you.” ML 318

How Do We Submit to Gods Will? By Cooperating with Him through Listening to Our Conscience

"Conscience is the voice of God, heard amid the conflict of human passions; when it is resisted, the Holy Spirit of God is grieved. " 5T 120

Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, "This is the way; walk in it.” Isaiah 30:21

It's true from our own understanding and the little knowledge we may think we're always right but in presence of God we may be far much away from the grace of our lord Jesus Christ. So by accepting every biblical truth and total submission of our hearts and worsks unto him who is powerful then we're made his children by faith

We struggle so much when we want to do our own will. But if we could just surrender to the Saviour, life becomes more meaningful.
